Established in 2010, Cellar 222 is a Tuscan wine cellar that is forever an inclusive LGBTQ+ host located in the heart of Kansas City. And even though this venue is mostly for intimate weddings, it is also quite spacious, making this the perfect venue for those who want a fun and relaxed vibe for a wedding.
They have been rated the best and most affordable wedding venue in Kansas City by their clients every year! It is truly important for them to take care of every one of their client’s needs to make their wedding a dream come true, and most importantly, stress-free.
This venue features many elegant and rustic features like; exposed brick and stone, Italian-forged iron lighting, a natural stone fireplace, and an old-world bar. Other amenities include a large and comfy VIP suite, quality tables and chairs, a speaker sound system with a microphone, a live band/DJ stage, free parking, and easy stair access to the Cellar for handicapped guests.
Cellar 222 also offers you their preferred list of trusted and flexible vendors that represent the best in Kansas City and will absolutely hit your quality expectations even if you’re on a budget! The vendor list consists of various bartenders, caterers, and linens.
You are also allowed to bring your own alcohol, your own licensed caterer, use their lovely couple's room, their amazing 12 speaker sound system, any DJ and their stage with a dance floor, and they encourage you to use real candles for the venue’s decor.
Prices at Cellar 222 are the following: Saturdays at $3,200, Fridays and Sundays at $2,700, and weekdays at $2,300. If you’d like to host your wedding ceremony at Cellar 222 as well, the fee is $500 for 2 extra hours.
